The studio prepared for the release of the GTA trilogy remasters by removing all existing versions of the three games from Steam and other digital stores, where they will be replaced by the Definitive Edition collection at launch. No gameplay footage or screenshots have been shown yet, but the remaster is set to feature new graphical and gameplay changes while staying true to the originals. A new Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition leak suggests the collection of games will be released on Steam and will not be limited to the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC after all. The long-rumored GTA trilogy remasters were announced earlier in October, with Rockstar Games promising overhauls of the classic open-world sandbox games GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas in one package on most modern platforms.
